Whore VII
“Look into my eyes,” she said.
I looked into her right eye, and then
Into her left.
I looked into both at once and I saw
 Her third eye.
And then her eyes began to multiply
 And rotate.
I looked into her left eye again and saw
A spinning pool the color of forest,
The color of the deep woods on a sunny day,
The color of sunlight filtered through
 Four hundred feet of green.
The pool was brown and gold,
 It was green and hazel,
And it begged me in, and I was drawn in,
Little by little,
Until the breath I inspired was her breath,
And the pool I bathed in was her soul,
And she gave me new Life.

I can still smell the hay and hear the horses and buffalo and it still brings a smile to my face. That little woman sure caught my attention and caused my heart to skip a few beats. Her unbridled innocence seemed to be at the core of her power. It was untainted by conditioned mind and completely disconnected from anything that would serve to dilute it. It was as pure a desire as I've ever witnessed and to be on the receiving end of that desire was unspeakable.

What a powerful healing that was. As the ranch hand participating in that fantasy, I can attest that the power lies in attention. It's the only thing that allows one to fully present, and when it comes to healing, being fully present is mandatory.

And . . . it has indeed been toooooo long :o)

Well, this deserves some discussion, which , I must say, I think your posts deserve more of.
As someone with a temper, I'd trade my anger for your wisdom and calm assertiveness any day. Anger simply destroys too much. It may get your message across but it causes too much needless damage to the object of your anger. And when you find you've loosed the bombers when you misinterpreted the situation, well, the damage is beyond repair. The scars can be permanent.
